Just a Little bit about A Wee Bit Worn (AWBW)
A Wee Bit Worn opened it’s doors in June of 2013.
We started this business as a way of contributing to our community. I have lived in Aurora my whole life, have had wonderful times, and have watched Aurora grow. It has always been in my nature to help people. Ed and I prayed about it and after 26 years working in an accounting office, we decided it was time. I left my job, took care of my parents for a year, did tons of research and finely my dreams came true. A Wee Bit Worn was born. In the five years that we have been open wonderful things have happened. We placed in the top three best consignment stores with “Denver’s A List” twice and we were named “Most Loved Consignment” two times in a row.
Every year across the United States over 10 million tons of textiles are taken to our land fields. By way of donations to various local charities and selling high quality clothing and gear that’s just A Wee Bit Worn we are doing our part to help save our environment. In recognition of this we received the “Aurora’s Business Recognition” award in the field of “Sustainability” for 2017.
